The Vestry is directing $400 to support Catherine Holmen in her position at Manitoba Pioneer Camp this year. The reminder of the budgeted amount for camperships will be forwarded from the Parish to the Sunshine Fund. Should you wish to make a personal donation to the Sunshine Fund, you may do so through our Parish. Please make cheques payable to St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church marked ”Sunshine Fund”.
Are you interested in enjoying God's wonderful wilderness and fellowship from St. Mary Magdalene at the same time? How about joining some parishioners for the September long weekend at Luther Village ? It is a special time before summer ends and school begins. The setting is wonderful! Various accommodation options exist from tenting to cabins. Full details can be viewed at www.luthervillage.ca. Each family is responsible for making own arrangements, but we can join for meals if desired. For more information, contact Marla Benjamin 883-2172. Try to be scent-free: There is clear medical evidence that scented products – things like perfumes, aftershaves and some shampoos - are harmful to people with allergies, environmental sensitivity or chronic heart or lung disease. Please be respectful of others and choose not to wear scented products while in church.
Margaret Jones is doing the Alzheimer Memory Walk, Thursday, June 12, in memory of Alan. Your support is appreciated.

Volunteers Needed
Greetings friends. Our Annual Garden Tours fundraiser is fast approaching and we are still in need of volunteers to host for a morning or afternoon at a number of our gardens. Please call Ingrid Peters Derry, Community Minister, St. Matthew's-Maryland Community Ministry, at 774-3957 if you are available to volunteer and, if so, whether you'd prefer the morning or afternoon shift.
Thanks again for thinking of us and for your help in the past.
