Vestry passed a motion March 24 that Easter offering be distributed as follows: That $200 be donated to the Boys and Girls (Victor Mager) Club; That $100 be made available to purchase 99 bibles (offered through the Canadian Bible Society); That $200 be donated to the Thelma Wynne Project; and That the remaining monies go to the lane Improvements

You are invited to the Lake Winnipeg Foundation Members' Meeting Thursday, April 30th, Khartum Shriners 1155 Wilkes Ave. to hear Dr. Gordon Goldsborough, a water quality specialist, discuss the Libau and Netley marshes at the south end of Lake Winnipeg. Speak to Brian Crow if interested.

The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) is accepting donations for victims of the earthquake that devastated L'Aquila, in central Italy, and the surrounding areas April 6. "Affluent countries like Italy have more capacity and infrastructure to respond to emergencies than less affluent countries. PWRDF does, however, accept designated donations for disasters globally...and forwards them through an appropriate agency," PWRDF said in a press statement.

Job Opportunity: Manitoba Pioneer Camp is looking for a Seasonal Administrator for the months of May through August, who would assist the full-time Office Administrator, particularly in the area of camper transportation, logistics & hospitality. This position would be based in the camp's Winnipeg office through the Urban Green Team. It would be a minimum of 25 hours a week at $8.75 per hour. Applicants must be between 18-24 years of age.
