This year’s Easter Special Offering will go toward purchasing new equipment for the hard of hearing in our church.

Parish Spring Garage Sale April 30th – May 1st 2010
**ACCEPTING DONATIONS MARCH 21st ** PLEASE PLACE ALL ITEMS IN DESIGNATED AREA AT BACK OF HALL. All hands are needed to work for this parish fundraiser. In addition to all donations, your help is needed on April 25th after service for setting up, April 26th-29th from 9am – 3pm for sorting and pricing April 30th- May 1st for the actual sale, May 1st for cleanup after the sale. Healthy Bones for Seniors, presented by Osteoporosis Canada, in the lower level, Tuesday March 30th, following the Seniors Luncheon, from1:00-2:00 pm. Everyone Welcome!

A Gathering in Honour of The Reverend Robert Osborne, retiring Dean of Rupert’s Land and Rector of St. John’s Cathedral will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010, at St. John’s Cathedral, 135 Anderson Ave. 5:00 pm service; 6:15 pm pig roast; 7:15 pm program and presentation. Come for part or join festivities in progress. All are welcome but please sign up at the back of the church if you plan to attend. There is no charge for the dinner. Donations are being accepted toward a gift (‘purse’) for Bob & Janice and should be sent to the Diocese Office by April 1st.

Book Study - The Wednesday evening book study is reading the book "The Case For God" written by Karen Armstrong. The group meets at 7 pm every Wednesday in the conference room at the church. Please join us. For more information speak to Dayle or Brian.

Vital Seniors: We now have a total Membership of 226, representing the 3rd highest membership in the clubs history! Come out and join us each week, here at the church, for Line Dancing, Scrabble, Carpet Bowling or Bridge. We also hold a Seniors Luncheon the last Tuesday of each month.
