Preparation for Worship Planning Committee
A worship study is planned for this fall. We will be studying Joan Chittister's book The Liturgical Year: the spiralling adventure of the spiritual life. The study is intended especially for those who will be part of the new worship planning committee, but is open to all. We will be looking at how "the liturgical cycle offers every Christian the path to a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God." If you think you might be interested please speak to The Rev. Mary Lysecki.

The name of this fun and exciting Brazilian martial arts is called Capoeira. It originated over 300 years ago when individuals were taken from Africa to work on plantations in Brazil. In order for the slaves to free themselves from their oppressors, they disguised the martial arts as a dance, with acrobatics and music. See you there! Parminder Obhi
