It is given in recognition of outstanding support and leadership in the Church. World Week for Peace in Israel Palestine, May 29 to June 4, Join churches around the world in prayer and action for peace for Palestinians and Israelis: use the Jerusalem Prayer written by the heads of the Churches in Jerusalem in your services on Sunday, 30 May 2010. The Alzheimer Society is pleased to partner with Manitoba Public Insurance to present a seminar on Elder Driver Safety, Thursday, June 3 at 7:00 pm at Canad Inns Polo Park. Please plan to join us that evening! See the poster on the bulletin board for more information.

Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's First National Event on the Legacy of the Indian Residential School System. The event will be held at The Forks on June 16 - 19, 2010 and will provide a great opportunity for the general public to learn about the residential school system as an important part of Canadian history, and an opportunity to honour residential school Survivors. Please note that the event is free and open to all. The Bishop would like Anglican presence at this event and encourages as many lay people to attend as possible.

Roy Pedrick has passed away. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 1:00 at St. Phillips.

St. James, Winnipeg - Anxiety and Depression Seminar, Friday, May 21, 7 pm, St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St., Speaker: Mike Glugosh. This is a free seminar to help you and others cope with the issue of Anxiety and Depression
